02 · Manifesto

We're building a portfolio. You get tech help. Both sides win.

We're a small team starting a tech practice. To grow, we need real work to point future clients at — case studies, references, things we've actually shipped.

So right now, a few projects go at no cost. You solve a problem you couldn't justify spending money on; we build the portfolio that gets us to paid work. Fair trade.

03 · Capabilities

The tangled tech holding small businesses back.

01

The website that's been embarrassing you

A simple, modern site that loads fast on a phone and looks like you take your work seriously.

Fix it
02

The thing you do every week that you shouldn't

Spreadsheet copy-paste, manual reports, repeated emails. Most of it can just… happen on its own.

Automate it

The little tool you wish existed

A booking flow, stock tracker, customer list — software shaped around how your business actually runs.

Build it
04 · Approach

A simple, three-step start.

We do this in our evenings and weekends. The shape is the same every time.

01
Tell us what's stuck

Email us with the problem. Doesn't need to be polished — a couple of sentences is plenty. We'll come back within a few days, honest about whether we're the right fit.

02
We take a swing

If we can help and there's a portfolio slot open, we'll take it on at no cost. Small enough to ship in days or a couple of weeks, scoped around how you actually work.

03
The work is yours

Whatever we build, you keep. Use it however you'd like. No lock-in, no strings — just a tool that finally works the way it should.

05 · Principles

How we keep it honest.

01 No invoice

Free while we're starting out

Portfolio-phase projects are at no cost. No first-session-then-quote, no surprise bills. Once we're past this phase, rates will be fair and we'll talk them through honestly.

02 Plain-spoken

Honest about our limits

If your problem is too big, too risky, or outside what we can do well, we'll tell you straight.

03 Tight scope

Small enough to finish

Days to a couple of weeks — sized to fit evenings and weekends, not something that drags.

04 No lock-in

The work is yours

Built by us, owned by you. Use it however you'd like — no lock-in, no strings attached.

06 · Questions

The things people usually ask.

Is this actually free?
Yes — for a limited number of projects while we're building our portfolio. No quote, no invoice, no surprise bills. Once we've got the portfolio where we need it, we'll go paid. But anything we agree to right now is genuinely free, in full.
What's the catch?
Two small things. One, permission to mention the project in our portfolio (you can opt out — we'll still do the work). Two, an honest reference if it goes well. No upsell, no recurring contract, no fine print.
What happens after the portfolio's done?
Our rates move from zero to fair small-business rates — the kind of pricing that's still accessible to single-shop operators, just not free anymore. If you worked with us during the portfolio phase, that work stays free regardless of what we charge later.
How long does it usually take?
Most projects are a few days to a couple of weeks of work, fitted into evenings and weekends. We'll give you a realistic timeline before we start. If something genuinely needs months, it's probably not the right fit for us — we'll tell you so.
Ready when you are

What's the tech
thing that's been
bugging you?

Tell us what's stuck. A couple of sentences is plenty — we'll come back within a few days, honest about whether we're the right fit.

No spam. Just a real reply within a few days.
